Hello, and welcome to Destroyer Airsoft. Today I will be reviewing the Classic Army Reinforced torque up gear set. This comes with all 3 gears, and is available on Airsplat.com for $49.99.
The basics:
- These are CNC Machined Steel gears.
- the package doesn’t include an anti-reversal latch, bushings/bearings, or shims.
Construction:
- Again, CNC Machined Steel.
- good for pulling heavier springs.
- should last quite a while if taken care of/used properly.
Scoring:
- Construction: 10/10, teeth are great, weight is good
- Inside the Gearbox: 8/10, sped up my gun to about 13 RPS from 12. Not that big a deal.
Buy these gears if you want better torque inside your gun. I am currently pulling an M120 on my SCAR-L, with a 7.4v 20c LiPoly battery, with a high speed/torque Matrix 3000 Motor.
