This motor is available for purchase on Evike.com for $45.00. Supposedly, this motor will increase rate of fire, and increase torque. So, does it? Today we will analyze it. I currently have an m120 installed in my gun.
First, the basics:
- uses neodymium magnets to provide maximum torque
- High speed version as well. Distinguished by colored blue, while the red is for the torque motor.
- recommended spring weight is m100 to m170.
- More gun tuning may be required to use springs beyond m130, and beyond m140 requires extreme gun modification to handle and pull the spring.
- I DO NOT recommend putting an m140 or heavier spring in your gun. Wear will be high and new gears will be necessary just to pull the spring.
- Comes in long, short, and medium type.
Scoring:
- Construction: 7/10, neo magnets are strong, but pinion gear is not. I recommend replacing soon after you receive it.
- Strength: 8/10, Powerful motor under the right conditions, but stock gearboxes should not use higher than an m130.
